“Failing” is the current state. MLB hasn’t “failed”, that would be an endgame. A destination. They’re not there yet. But it’s clearly heading more toward “failure” than “success”.

It’s been a week and half, in a 60 game season, and yet:

Multiple teams have played 4-5 games, while most have played 9-11. In a compacted 60 schedule with little room for make ups. They literally had to shorten the length of games to even give a glimpse of hope in getting close to 60 games.
At least a dozen teams have had their scheduled games canceled due to COVID.
In a week and a half.

Players are bailing. Teams are losing tons of money. Many on both sides are calling for the resignation of the commissioner.

All of this despite the safety protocols already put in place to keep a “season” going.

If anyone has a list of reasons how this has been “successful”,
I’d be willing to listen.

I understand the english language just fine. MLB isn't failing. You're wrong here, and have been wrong since you began posting about MLB.

I would recommend re-evaluating your approach to this topic.
