Yes the show can be great, if outrageous humor is your thing.

look, dude, I'm old as dirt. don't hassle me. I press the button and say Eric Andre and my tv does the work.

like I said, it's fun for a 15 minute pick me up. I really like Hannible Burress' work on the show. It takes talent to be able to get laughs while having so few spoken lines

One thing I will comment on for now... they did a great job integrating music into the scenes. I thought that was one of the best aspects of the first season.

Netflix has said they are looking for a property to be the next Harry Potter or Game of Thrones. Something they can turn into a long franchice. I thought of three things right away

Dresden Files
Remo Williams
DragonLance.

It should be based on the “Saga” graphic novels.

Considered one of the best graphic novels of all time, and it’s not even finished yet.

Been described as Game of Thrones meets Star Wars.

I’m greatly enjoying it so far.

Someone sent my wife an issue #1.

It's pretty fucking awesome. Checks all the boxes for nudity, sex, violence, scifi, and storytelling.

Whoever lands the rights to this will have every actor, actress, director, producer and studio vying to be part of it.

Definitely agree this property would attract high level talent at every level of development.

The writer/creator guy said a few years ago he wasn’t interested in seeing it adapted, but I’m holding out hope he changes his mind eventually.

My wife and I watched John Mulaney's The Comeback Kid and enjoyed it. We both laughed out loud several times.

Just finished Season 2 last night. So good. You are right about the music, they do a fantastic job with that in both seasons.

Great cliffhanger for season 3, although as of now season 3 has not been confirmed.

UA will certainly get renewed. It's one of their top shows.

Agreed, they put some effort into the music.

The only problem with Ua’s future is they’ve caught up to the graphic novels.

The writer/creator was suppose to release the next volume this year.

They haven't caught up. Volume 3 came out a year ago. I haven't read it yet, but from what I hear it wasn't that good and it appears teh show is going to skip it anyway based on the cliffhanger from the end of season 2. I'm gonna buy it today...only learned it even existed about an hour ago.

I don't think it matters anyway. The show is so different from the comic, season 2 was nothing like the comic. Season 1 was a little closer to the comic storyline. At this point the show could just go in its own direction which is appears it is doing anyway with that cliffhanger.

This! The first 3 "Dragons" books and the 3 "Twins" books would be fucking amazing.

Second season was average at best.

Need to bring back the Travelers. Not an original Netflix series (Sci Fi) but the story line and acting was top notch. They finished season 2 at a perfect point for Netflix to pick it up and continue the story.

Dave Chappelle talking to David Letterman for an hour on Netflix is pretty cool.

Yeah, sounds stimulating. Maybe Chris Rock can sit down with Larry King for an hour next.

Ok guys, I found a couple really good foreign shows on netflix, one of which I would even call amazing.

the amazing show is To the Lake. It's a Russian post apocalyptic show where a deady virus is spreading (much worse than covid, kills you in about 6 days) and a couple of neighboring dysfunctional families join together to try and escape Moscow and find somewhere safe. Let me tell you, there isn't a better setting for one of these shows than Russia. Russia is a place where they already don't value human life...now throw in the apocalypse and you can imagine the carnage. There's only one season and a second season has been confirmed. Do not miss this show, it's one of the best I've seen in years. Great drama, great character development, just a great show.

The other show is a Belgium show called Into the Night. A bunch of people are on a plane when the sun starts killing everythign in it's path. The people on the plane have to figure out a way to constantly stay ahead of the sun as they race around the world. It's another great show. Not quite as good as To the Lake, but still a really good show.
