Well I just got an email reminder that I have a draft tonight at 8pm for the keeper league I am in. I have no clue why we are drafting so fucking early, but it is what it is.

I have 3 keepers going into the year. Lamar Jackson, Christian McCaffery, and Amari Cooper.

So I am scrambling trying to find all the news and info for tonight.

Build around stud RBs. There’s literally like 50 good WRs to choose from

Barring injury, it's going to be tough to not end up with a good looking team with that foundation to start with, good luck

Guys I like more than their ADP this year

Miles Sanders
David Montgomery
Jonathan Taylor
DeAndre Swift

DJ Moore
Robert Woods
DJ Chark
Brandin Cooks
Jerry Jeudy
Marvin Jones Jr

Lots of good late round TE prospects too, Cook, Hurst, Jonnu, Ian Thomas, Gesicki, etc

Billy is also right

Yeah I hope I am in a good situation still. 2 years ago I won this league and finished 2nd last year.

It is a ten team PPR league. We start 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs 1 WR/RB 1 WR/TE 1 TE, 1 D/ST 1 K

I will have the 9th pick

One of the hardest things IMO with this league set up is when to take your 2nd QB.

With Lamar that should be less of a concern.

But don’t drop Lamar. That would be a poor decision

safest way to avoid that is to make sure you have no other L. jackson or I jackson named players on the roster!

If CEH falls to you at 9 you thank them and don’t look back.

Yeah I like him, but I doubt he does, half the league is Chief fans. So I am guessing he goes early

On satellite radio they do mocks all the time, I don't get the over the top love for Joe Mixon. He's a solid back who should get 260-275 carries.. Every mock I heard had him going #1 or #2 back taken..always in top 5 or 6 overall.

What the hell show do you listen to? He’s not going in the top 5 anywhere. There’s 6-7 RBs drafted before him consistently in every draft.

I have to think Carr would be a good value this season. His stock is probably down after 2018 when the offensive line was blown out by week 4 and last season when he had 1 real target after Williams' feet burned off. He's got some nice red zone options this year.

Where is Jacobs projected to go? They're talking about using him more in passing game.

Nobody on 87 has Mixon as a top 5 back.

I think Mccaffrey misses some games this year.

I hear bits n pieces in the car.. I could be wrong .. It sounded like he was the #1 or #2 back taken every draft I heard.

Are the Raiders talking about that? I’ve only heard Jacob talk about that.

The Richard extension and the Bowden draft pick leads me to believe the Raiders don’t plan on involving Jacobs more in the pass game, which is a shame.

Expert concensus ranking on Mixon is RB8, 11th overall. Sounds about right.

just arrived in the draft room, and Edwards-Helaire is the 2nd player on the board currently behind dalvin cook. No way he makes it to 9

That’s good for you. Let someone else be massively disappointed.

I’ve never done keeper leagues before, just dynasty (keep everyone) and normal leagues.

Gotta think the talent pool is severely depleted. What’s the top 10 QB and RB look like that’s available to draft?

I would look at Kyler, Russ, Drake, and Ekeler with your first two picks

Yesterday Gruden said they were going to involve him more in the passing game which makes sense. He lead the league in missed tackles so getting him out in space one and one with that wicked jump cut could equal a big gain. I don't think they want him pounding it more than 250 times or so especially as they tried and failed several times to draft/sign a backup.

It sounds like we could see Bowden and Jacobs in at same time with Bowden at QB but who knows how they're going to use Bowden. Gruden's ability to scheme guys is underrated IMO so its going to be interesting.
