His petulant 12 year old side believed so. Showing how little of what he posts can be taken seriously.

Bernsie has a boner. Looks like Bears are going to skip practice and wearing BLM shirts.

My son showed me the statement that the Bears put out yesterday about their official position regarding what happened in Kenosha and police actions in general. After looking at that and Trevathan's asinine comments earlier in the week, I am going to cancel the NFL Ticket and not watch any NFL Football this year.

Fuck these assholes and their kissing up to the anarchist BLM movement. Let BLM go to and watch these guys play football. Let the rioters wear their crap to the games. Maybe the idiot owners will give these "poor" depressed rioters "scholarships" to the games.  Screw em.

Making custom walking sticks and canes for disabled veterans is what it is.

Players across all sports don't appear to be protesting the shooting of Blake. They're upset by what they see as a double standard. The kid from Antioch was able to cross state lines with a rifle and shoot 3 people. Even when he repeatedly tried to give himself up and had people alerting the cops that he was the shooter, he was given a bottle of water and allowed to go home. Blake was shot and paralyzed for not obeying orders and he may have had a knife. That's allegedly why they all took "action" yesterday.

There were also reports of the police completely ignoring him even as others told them that he'd just shot someone.

I appreciate their response, but the vandals/looters in Kenosha don't seem to give a shit about NBA basketball.

There is nothing comparable in the situations. It’s not a double standard to any reasonable person. And no athlete has made a coherent argument voting these two events. The kid was involved in a shooting and arrested within hours.

None of us are shocked they weren't going to boycott the rest of the season.

I'm not shocked but I am a little surprised.

I definitely understand how emotions can be high and cause an overreaction to these issues, but this certainly seems like a big overreaction if they were essentially just going to postpone the games for a day or two. I was skeptical a season long strike would do much, but this certainly accomplishes nothing and just making the NBA and the players look pretty bad.

It's nice to see they stand for justice as long as it doesn't affect them monetarily in any way.

There is nothing comparable in the situations. It’s not a double standard to any reasonable person. And no athlete has made a coherent argument voting these two events. The kid was involved in a shooting and arrested within hours.

In one situation a guy had a knife either in his hand or car and had been arguing and took someone's keys

In the other, a kid said "I just shot some people"

It does seem weird that the police response was so much milder for the guy admitting to shooting.
