Gotta think they're dogs when they play Boston.

Beating the Bucks doesn't make you a world beater. When Brook Lopez is the glue holding it together....

Sweeping them does

I'm happy for Jimmy that he found a home with the Heat. And I'm riding with the Heat until he gets his ring. He's the most misunderstood guy since Iverson.

Jimmy Butler entered the NBA
in 2011.

Games played in Conf. Finals. 0
Games played in the NBA Finals. 0

Nothing says WINNER quite like that does it?

Sure why not.
WINNER!

Quote:
Miami Heat.

Jimmy Butler

He's remained an elite player and probably is deserving of All-NBA this season. But that's with his third team since being traded from the Bulls. Jimmy had his favored coach in Minnesota, Tom Thibodeau, and forced his way out. Then he was with the most talented team in the East, Philadelphia, and chose to leave. Jimmy isn't a journeyman, but he obviously had journeys in mind. Miami is the right fit for the mercurial Jimmy, who seems like the guy who is happiest when he gets punched back in the face. Jimmy clearly has the ball with the Heat, which seems to have been his greatest desire. The way the rest of this unjust, partisan and unrighteous NBA season could go maybe the Heat has a chance with an impressive scouting job of what most believed were nobodies. And further doing it the right way when they made a mistake paying Hassan Whiteside then working hard to dump him on someone else instead of trying to justify their decision. Pat Riley did learn from Jerry West. Everyone makes mistakes. The best get rid of them and try something else.

Even if it does so what its still 9 years later. You'd never (see Philly) accept those results if it was a player and team you didn't like.

Paul George took his team to the Conf Finals as a 22 year old and yet you still bash the hell out of him.

I understand your beef. Jimmy's overrated. He overrates himself. He demands others overrate him. There's a giant Jimmy bandwagon that makes a lot of noise. I get it. But I don't care. I don't think Pat Riley cares either. 20, 6, and 6 with well above average defense doesn't grow on trees. If Riley has to hire Haslem to blow Jimmy during timeouts, then that's what he has to do.

Let's not lionize the guy is my point. He has laid down in many a playoff series. This is the first time a team with him as the best player has ever been good. That isn't an accident either

Let's do lionize him. Don't wait until after he retires like Pippen. Just because you're not a closer doesn't mean you aren't AS valuable as a closer.

It would make my sports viewing year if the Rockets can knock off the Lakers.

I’m just going to stop posting my thoughts/predictions on certain teams, because it seems I’ve inherited the Favrefan curse.

Westbrook in the 4th: 1-8, made a layup to start the quarter, 1-2 FT, 3 pts/2 turnovers in the 4th. 10pts /7 TO for the game

I know it has been over 20 years, but did the Jordan Bull's take as many playoff quarters/halves/games off as the Clippers and Lakers do?

I watched a little of Game 2 of the Lakers. I haven't watched the NBA in a while. It's painful watching Lebitch emote in response to every foul like he is Sir Lawrence Olivier playing to the back of the theater.

Plays out of control at times that comes because of immaturity
