I actually was wondering what became of Scott Darling. Turns out he's making $1.2MM a year to stay home for another three years. He played the system like a fiddle, you really gotta hand it to him.

He said he wants to try for an AHL contract this year and if he doesn't get one he'll be content to retire. He said he won't go back to Europe again (he played there this last year)

He has been on a fair number of the Red Line Radio podcasts. I wouldn't be shocked to see him working at Barstool if he doesn't play this year.
