This Miami Heat team two wins away from the finals? The Heat? Boston should be ashamed of themselves. They're only marginally better I guess but still. They should be winning.

The Heat are deeper, and appear to want it more.

Perhaps but this should be Tatum's series.

Idk, I’m starting to not feel the hype.

Marcus Smart snapping after the game. Wonder who we was talking about.

Tatum has played well but he hasn't been special yet. He has to be in order for them to win but it seems as if they feel that the team goes as Kemba goes.

I'm shocked the Celtics didn't attack the basket every possession after drawing 4 team fouls early on (I want to say 8 minutes left?) in the 4th quarter. Stevens' answer to the zone was Marcus Smart receiving the ball at the free throw line instead of Tatum?

Brad Stevens was hired in 2013. He's been Boston's coach for 7 years. That's an eternity in the NBA. Boston has superior talent. If they lose, he's out of a job in my opinion.

He won't and it wouldn't even if he did. I left Butler alone once people here ran away and hid from talking about him a few years ago. No need to beat a dead horse and didn't care to discuss with guys that only reference him whenever he is having a good run of it.

His teammates saved him once again last night. Some ''Alpha Dog" aye?

Quote:
Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart had a heated confrontation following their Game 2 loss to the Miami Heat and had to be separated by teammates, multiple sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Smart stormed into the locker room saying that other players needed to be held accountable.

As Smart continued and his voice grew louder, Brown shouted that players must stay together and that their actions must come as a team and not individually.

Objects were thrown around during the interaction between Smart and Brown with teammates diffusing the situation before a physical altercation could take place. Smart and Brown have smoothed over tensions.

“They will move past this and focus on the task,” a source said late Thursday.

Smart also had verbal exchanges with a couple of assistant coaches during the game.

The Boston Celtics trail 0-2 to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Marcus Smart going full Jimmy Butler.

The man cares. What can I say?

Unlike known quitter Jimmy Buckets!
Quote:
Jimmy Butler, who last week requested a trade from the Timberwolves, was at Target Center on Monday for his physical exam but did not participate in the Wolves’ media day.

But while he won’t play for the Wolves, he did find a new group of local players with whom to play basketball.

Multiple people told me Butler played in a pickup game Monday at the downtown Life Time Minneapolis Athletic Club, just a few blocks away from Target Center where media day was going on. Photographic evidence (above) confirms that he was, indeed there.

And on Tuesday, Butler was spotted doing a workout and getting some shots up at the Life Time Fitness in Plymouth while the rest of the Wolves were participating in the first day of training camp — and a practice rookie Josh Okogie described as “long, but cool.”

Officially, the Wolves are saying Butler will miss the first week of practice as he continues to rehab from offseason hand surgery. Clearly there is a difference between some noon ball with a bunch of rec players and the rigors of NBA camp, but it is an interesting strategy nonetheless.

It’s just nice that Butler was able to find some teammates in Minnesota to play with as he awaits a trade. Those who played with him on Monday, by the way, said it was a pretty cool experience.

Butler would have leaked it to Joe Cowley.

2018, Cleveland was down 2-0 in ECF. They had LeBron.

2019, Toronto was down 2-0 in ECF. They had Kawhi.

2020, Boston is down 2-0 in ECF. They have Tatum?

He is playing well but he has to become special in this series or else they are going down.

Hayward should be back tomorrow. Hopefully he gives them something.

Kemba played well last night but his turnover late and his defense is killing them. They are attacking the hell out of him.

Tyler Herro singlehandedly keeping the Heat in this game.

If Stevens calls a couple timeouts at the end of game 1..they win.

I find it hard to believe Haywood comes in and plays 30 minutes tonight and couldn't go in game 1 or 2?
