Ahh yes...THAT Hawks team. For all of his history with Da Bulls, I also remember BJ more for his Hawk years. BJ, Roy Marble, Ed Horton, Kevin Gamble. The 2nd half choke of all chokes vs. UNLV. What Hawkeye fan could ever forget.

The only other thing that some Hawkeye fans like to point out is that it was all Raveling's players and Dr Tom never did it with his. Speaking of which, they just inducted Dr Tom into the Hawkeye Hall of Fame. They had him, Marv Cook, Lincoln McIlravy(wrassler) and a couple of lesbians in the same class. Dr Tom got a standing O at Kinnick that went on for several minutes and led Dr Tom to tears on the field. It was pretty touching.

And for that, who takes the bigger hit, suffers the bigger laugh???

There are only two examples of infinity: The universe and human stupidity and I'm not sure about the universe.

They gave Dr Tom the royal screw job when they basically fired him for Alford. They wouldn't give him a contract extension and told him it was his last year. Dr Tom got his last laugh several years ago when he beat the Hawks in Des Moines when he was coaching at Drake.

I always liked Dr Tom. I thought the knock against him was bull and loved the way his teams played.
