It was helmet to helmet. Mack forced the fumble and hit Ryan in a way that Ryan’s shoulders slumped as he was looking for the football he just lost. So his head/helmet lowered as he looks for the ball. Bears DL leads with his helmet to hit his chest but accidentally hits Ryan’s helmet in real time.

I don’t understand how that’s still Falcons ball after the forced fumble by Mack. Maybe Bears ball where the fumble was recovered and a 15 yard penalty after the fact.

It would have been if the penalty occurred after the recovery but it did not

He was also being blocked in the back. As you said there was a fumble. It was a ridiculous call.

I don’t like the rule as it’s written then. It’s a live football.

Great play design, and great recognition to audible to that play, but a terrible throw. Should be 17-16 Bears right now.

Bears managed to burn 17 seconds of clock on that series? Pitiful.

Thayer is apoplectic that the Bears couldnt hold the ball for the last 70 seconds and keep Ryan off the field.

Mitch audibled.

And the play worked. Miller was wide open. A better throw and it's a touchdown.

How about the throw should have been made by #10? That was a great play call.

it might not have been. Looked like the play was changed at the line. That was an audible.

Yeah Mitch actually made a good audible but then couldn't give the guy a chance.

Agreed. It’s just so annoying the guy can’t execute. He makes the right call, targets the right guy and still can’t finish the fucking play.

Mitch can’t make that throw and the defense is daring him to try

Is there a single route he does throw well?

That was not a difficult throw. One that can be made by an above average HS qb.

Signing Trevanthon was a poor decision.

Yeah he is finished. Hopefully he has no guaranteed money left after this season.

Between getting torched deep and getting stiff armed to the ground, probably a game to forget for Jackson.
