According to estimates from a Yale University study, 150 species die each day. This means approximately 18.75 died while you spent three hours watching the Bears beat the Falcons today. Incidentally, Pandas, a type of Bear, are particularly vulnerable to extinction. Only 1,800 + remain in existence today.

Trust me, if the most special needs member of the animal kingdom went extinct we’d be ok.

The Bears have to have one overarching goal for the next two weeks: Play a more aggressive first half defense and knock both old men (Rivers and Brady) out of the fucking game before halftime.

The game after that is against the Panthers, who suck worse than the Falcons and will have gone full rebuild by then, even if Teddy Bridgewater is still standing. Get to 6-0, coast the rest of the year to 10-6 and a 4 seed.

Sadly....

They will instead get their asses blown out by both Rivers and Brady because Pagano plays a soft defense. Brady may hang 50 on this defense, Lovie style.

If they are in the mix I like their chances on tie breakers this year. As someone else pointed out (Beardown?). They are 3-0 vs NFC which matters for seeding.

Pagano does suck. Somebody in this thread said this D hasn't been the same since Vic left and I agree. Aggressiveness isn't there on a steady basis.

He's this generation's Vince Tobin.

I think Vic is showing to be a guy who is a great DC and a bad head. Maybe he will come available again this off season.

Yeah, ESPN now shows Mitch with the 71.8. I wonder if they didn't have the pic factored in originally. Either way, Mitch blows.

ESPN QBR is different from the quarterback rating stat that was widely used before the last couple years JB.

Edit: Idk why Fox still uses the old, less critical Quarterback Rating stat.

Looks like he was completely absent from the stat sheet...even (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky got a solo tackle.

He expertly threw that ball to the one place where only he would get a shot at making the tackle.

A panda is not a bear. If I remember correctly it is genetically closer to a racoon
