This year. The dude sucks but Foles isn't the guy. Foles is a fling type - he's not in it for the long term. He's never demonstrated that...he's demonstrated the opposite actually (see Rams).

Due to injury or performance (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky will be back at some point this season.

Everybody is in amazement that Foles threw 3 TDs in the 4th to win the game. Guess who did that in week one? Mitch.

Look, they're not that different. Except Mitch can run. Which means he's slightly better. I know we like the backup. I still think Mitch is better. Slightly.

But let's not jerk off too much to Foles. If this guy was a HOFer it would have been known before he's 32. That's all I'm saying.

Foles is better at reading defense.
Foles can remember and learn an NFL playbook.
In my opinion, that beats out Mitch's speed advantage.

I was just hoping that the younger guy gets to do it cuz it helps the Bears long term. And maybe he gets better while we're winning.

Actually, Nagy is the star of this season in my opinion. Some bad. But he always gets them wins with his play calling.

He will most likely get injured, although the ol has kept the qb pretty clean. Most of the sacks I have seen are stupid Mitch running directly into the pass rush

The cool thing about today was the sense of the moment. Where Nagay made the change. And it worked. That's what I liked.

But you can't Yo-Yo these guys all year long.

I actually think the smart move is to go back to Mitch. Then one really shit performance, it's Foles for the rest of the year. That's just me. But I trust Nagy at this point, ya know, cuz he knows the team and the QBs better than me. So whatever he does is fine.

I think most Bears fans are ready to move on from Mitch. We know who he is and it's not good enough. I'm curious to see what Nagy and Foles can do. If he gets injured, he gets injured.

Should have cut Mitch during the summer and signed a competent backup for Foles. No one on this team believes in Mitch so him as a backup doesn't do anything for me.

Is Mitch's option for next year only guaranteed if he gets injured this year?

If so, and they get to Week 8 or 9, they may bring in a veteran 3rd QB and RGIII old Mitch to prevent the option from kicking in.
