He's a Bernie fan. Better not watch.

I'm not like you. I don't get my morality or anything else except from entertainment from entertainers. He's a Bernie supporter. BUT Super privileged. YOU should probably penalize him for that if you want to be honest with yourself. I have no problem with what he earns or what or who he wants to support or where he started from.

Mulaney has been great both times he's hosted. Also, increased chance of a Bill Hader appearance which is always great.

Last night's episode was pretty bad.

Just have Bill Hader host again so there will at least be one episode that isn't a shit show. They are even fucking up the democratic primary stuff...Sudekis can do a great Biden, but the writing was terrible...it should have been an angry biden screaming at the top of his longs...Why is Davidson doing Steyer? So he has something to do? The only thing remotely funny is Larry David as Sanders.

CH could write better than SNL on politics.

SNL doesn't really write politics anymore. They just read the transcripts with weird facial expressions.

Fun political stuff was when Phil Hartman played Reagan as a doddering fool to the visiting public and then ripped his advisors a new one when the boy scouts left his office.

They don't have the guts to do a skit like that now. Can you imagine if they did a skit showing Trump to be a secret genius? The social environment won't allow it. It could be funny if done correctly and even then it would be too controversial.

The first SNL at Home a few weeks ago wasn't good and this one is not much better. Miley Cyrus did a terrible cover of Wish You Were Here.

If you saw the opening credits, it seems like Colin Jost wants you to know he works out. You married Scarlett Johansson, dude, you don't have to prove anything to anybody.

No, I think he owes us an explanation.

Yes, I definitely noticed this.

I thought the sketch with the instagram (or whatever) filters was really bad because they did that last season, and really didn't add anything to it at all. I did like having a "What's Up With That?" again -- that is one of my all time favorites, and it kind of adapts to the individual filming format -- at least I thought they did an alright job with translating it and putting stupid graphics all over the screen. Villasenor had an above average back of the show filler. Pitt as Fauci was a fun surprise. But overall, without an audience, these really come off as much worse than the "real" show does.

Season Premiere tonight, Chris Rock hosting.

I have drank MANY beers tonight, but I'm trying to stay up for at least the first few skits.

Chris Rock talking about SNL Covid testing:

“I haven’t had this MANY things going up my nose since I shared a dressing room with Chris Farley.”

It was funny, but they kind of ripped off Rowan Atkinson from back in the day
