Honestly, I really don't care. I'm pretty apathetic to the Bears at this point. I watch the games and root for them but I really have zero expectations of them playing January or February football. If they do and surprise me great. If they don't, then spring training is just around the corner.

I suppose if they can't win it all this year, it would make sense to probably just gut everything and start fresh with a new regime. But I don't even have a whole lot of confidence in that because since Lovie has left- outside of a couple of signings and a couple of draft picks- this team hasn't done much of anything right.

You can salvage the defense. This is like 2011 again or whenever Lovie was fired. You keep the defense intact because it's doing something right and flush the system on offense. It's basically the same thing now. The defense is worth working with but there's a steaming pile of shit on the other side.

I have no interest in watching a Bengals/Browns as a standalone game. The advent of free agency destroyed the ability to ensure the majority of primetime games, especially on Mondays, would be between top teams. Sunday night is only premier because of their ability to flex games later in the year.

If they scheduled the Thursday games so that both teams are coming off a bye that would mitigate the short turnaround concerns. The players would have extended time both before and after the game.
