Yeah I'm as frustrated as you are. I thought the days of shooting ourselves in the foot were over. I still think we can make the playoffs. The offense at least is very good. They came up small in the 4th quarter the last 2 weeks but getting Ruggs back will make a big difference. Its pretty funny watching the defense react to him. It looks like Carr and Agholor are starting to get in sync. That bomb Sunday was nice. I've watched Waller get behind the defense several times this season I don't know why Carr isn't going there but he will at some point.

Hurst is on the Covid list. I have no idea what they're going to do. If you believe PFF Hurst has been the 4th best DT in the league this season. This is the problem when we let a moron like Marinelli run amok. Instead of a real player to plug in we have Kendal Vickers a guy with limited talent that Marinelli thought he could coach up. Somehow we don't have any DT's on the practice squad...

I'm glad they only signed Collins for one year.

Putting Vickers on the 53 man roster was a WTF then. Now?

I think Nassib has been as expected. He's been good against the run and applying some pressure in the pass game. He's the kind of guy that when the coverage holds up can bring consistent pressure and get home. I think he should be inside on pass downs instead of Ferrell. He's quicker and stronger and at 6'7" he can disrupt the passing lanes. Watching Ferrell wrestling with a guard is almost embarrassing. I think Ferrell can be a good player based on how he was playing at the end of last season but he's not getting any help from Marinelli. Its almost like Marinelli convinced Gruden he could turn Ferrell into a pass rusher. If you watch Nassib he's engaging the tackle reading the play and disengaging. Ferrell is just rushing the passer at the snap and getting hooked inside giving up huge gains. That has to be by design and its very frustrating to watch and it takes me back to what Broaddus the former head scout of the Cowboys used to say about Marinelli. He doesn't care about stopping the run.

I haven't watched the coaches film yet but I read Ferrell played the fewest snaps of any game so far. I feel bad for him because he worked his ass off in the offseason and I believe Marinelli isn't using him properly. The thing we don't know is how much power Marinelli has. Can Guenther even tell him what to do? They had Guenther up in the booth last game which was odd...

How many sacks is he on pace for now?
