Any lack of success is only due to the offense. This was also true last year.

Don't want to hear about sacks or yards. Points are all that matter.

I believe turnover differential is the biggest determinant of winning. Well after points of course. 8)

Not sure what else they can do to prove it:

TB Scoring Output:

Week 1: 23 points
Week 2: 31
Week 3: 28
Week 4: 38

So far they have 19 tonight in the late 4th, with seven of those coming due to post-INT short field. The Bears have a stingy defense.

The defense can still be good but it’s not dominant anymore. They are very undisciplined, and miss a good amount of tackles week in and week out. That’s on coaching imo

Offense needs to step up alit more for this thing to work

It's a winning defense, just like it was last year. I agree it's not 2018 level anymore.

It won’t matter because we’ll lose to the top tier teams consistently and it will be because of mistakes on defense as well as on offense. You can’t miss tackles with the consistency that this defense does and hope to have success, for example.

It's about points though...you have to assume missed tackles, TDs, etc. Sometimes the guy with the ball is better than you. It happens. These guys are not robots. I don't agree with microanalyzing every play, every tackle, etc. Even a tackle for loss will have someone doing something wrong, whether it's being out of position, being beaten on a route but bailed out by a sack, etc. Point is, you might be overanalyzing.

I take a macro view - I don't care what you do for those 60 minutes, if you give up 17-18 points or so at the end of the game you did your job.

agreed vegan.

five games in and holding every single team played under its average

They have also played some pretty big name QB in that stretch. I don't think there is a dog in that group.

I really like that they have been able to close out a few games now with a short lead and under 5 minutes to play (detroit, giants, falcons and bucs).

little shout out to Barkevious Mingo. I know he is a third OLB but he seems to have a significant play every single week and he is getting some consistent QB pressure. Probably playing better than Quinn.

Does anyone remember why Mingo was a 1st round bust?

Could he not play pass coverage?

as I remember it he made a huge splash his first half season, averaging something like a sack a game and then had something like 2 sacks over the next 3 seasons.

He’s still useless. Packers have a better TE currently that went undrafted.

Dope.

That’s fair. Gotta allow for the possibility Green Bay doesn’t bring their A game

Is Daniel Jones now considered good? So far this year he has 2 tds & 5 ints with a QBR of 68.3.

 I forgot they played the Giants.

I can't blame gd. I'd be stretching this 4-1 start for as much as I could get out of it too

Packer fans on the run as they are more concerned with the Bears than their own team.

Not many concerns to be had as far as our team goes. Sitting pretty going into the bye

I've never seen a fanbase more arrogant about a 4-0 record than the 2020 Peckers. You have one "signature" win this year, vs the Saints.(without their best player, Michael Thomas btw) The Bears have one good win too this year. The only difference is a single loss to the Colts, who yes, do have a legit defense. They will hang a loss on the Green Bay later this year. At least Bears fans are tepid about their record, unlike the lunatics in Wisconsin. Rona side effects?

Packers were missing Davante Adams that game so it was even. @ the Colts, they suck and Rivers was washed up two years ago. Bears don't have any legit wins, they got lucky to beat the Giants. GB's gonna destroy both teams that played last night unless they get a lot better quick.

Ronald Jones sucks and easily ran for a buck plus on you guys. Aaron Jones will have a field day against that weak ass LB corps.

I dogged the Colts earlier this year, and Rivers is done, but that defense is legit. Not just the rush they cover incredibly. I know you only scout the stat lines but Green Bay will find out next month and learn the hard way. Jonathon Taylor is a best too.
