I'm half expecting Kane to go to Rocky and ask to be dealt to an Eastern Conference contender. Why would he want to waste the rest of his career for this rebuild?

too bad...some 6 years ago, it seemed the hawks had arguably the 2 out of the 3 best american hockey players in kane and saad along with arguably, 2 out of the 3 best canadian hockey players in toews and keith.

was dynamite on toews' line until the columbus trade. after that, not sure what happened?? was top scorer on columbus his 1st season there and #2 scorer for columbus his second season. i remember saad being in tortorella's doghouse for awhile. looks like coach Q got the very, very best out of him.

Colorado has been an obvious choice for Kane for a while now. With all their cap space and all that talent, they could use a winner like Kane to get them over the hump. Plus, they have loads of prospects that they can acquire anyone they want. I am eager to see Kane's second act. He's got another 5 near-elite years in him. I want to see him get traded to a contender not wallow away in this rudderless Hawks organization.
