I wonder how much $$ these Sports Leagues are getting from these states to locate all these bubbles in super-hot zones.

Probably thought it would be unfair to let the White Sox win another World Series in Houston.

Sox will have won more world series in the state of texas than any other team, doing something historic yet again.

I don't like the idea of Houston in hurricane season. Downtown Houston floods at the drop of a hat. They should play in Anaheim instead.

Arlington is fine.

i always wanted to clank a beer with dubya at a ballgame in arlington. guess we'll have to sweat out covid to make that a wholly implausible reality, eh?

No, this is all over the place, not just Passan. Open secret because they can't risk a team being out of commission for two weeks.

MLB had 0 player positives and just two staff positives last week. They have tightened things up, the Clevenger fiasco was the last straw in most clubhouses.

they should have done the bubble thing from the start like they were planning. Arizona and Florida.

But overall other than the Cards and Marlins, it's a miracle its not been a complete disaster especially w/ teams travelling and not in a bubble.

I think the combination of the Cards getting infected and the Plesac/Clevenger bullshit really caused the MLBPA player reps and the veterans on teams to lock it down with the younger players. Players saw that the Indians players wanted Clevinger demoted even though it weakened the team and may have pushed his free agency back a year. And the MLBPA didn't say a peep publicly.

Poor Dusty Baker, once again about to lose in the playoffs to a lesser team. The Rays.

Although they were able to pull out a victory tonight.

Rays are the #1 seed and have looked every bit of it during the playoffs. No name hitters but elite pitching from front to back and their D is lockdown

Rays are the best AL team.
Dodgers are the best NL team

That's the WS. Braves had a nice little run but that shit's over.

I'm not a fan of playing 7 days in a row. If they took at least one day off, we would have a better chance of seeing more of the top flight starters pitch a second time.

I liked it for the DS, but not so much now. Play four in a row, off day, then the final three if necessary.

The WS will be played with the normal days off after games two and five.

I thought the DS was fine, but seven in a row are just too many. It's good to hear that we're going to have something more normal for the World Series.

Agreed. They should have had breaks in the LCS as well

Well it looks like Dusty got another one tonight.

now down 3-2.

Didnt realize the Stros were an under .500 team this season and the Rays were 40-20. I guess it's no fluke they beat the Yankees.

I dismissed the LaRussa stuff out of hand because of his age but then realized Dusty is in the ALCS at 71.

Dusty doin' it again.

Theyre about to even the series at 3.

Good to see the Astros built for the long haul. Their team continues to go deep into postseason.

Unlike Cubs who flamed out after 2017.

so how bout that?

First time in MLB HISTORY that a pitcher has faced a hitter with same first and last name. EVER. Regular season or postseason. Will Smith.

And what happened? The hitter hit a 3-run HR to put LA ahead.

Dodgers just continue to pump out good young hitters.

Would love to see them win a World Series again.

Dusty did it again!

Game 7 TOMORROW afternoon.

He couldnt quite get there with Cincy, so close with Washington, so let's see if he can get back to the World Series this time. What a story it would be, at 71.

In Dusty we Trusty!!!

So Buehler throws 6 shutout innings, dominating, 85 pitches, and they take him out. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now u give the Braves 9 outs of hope, and what happens, they triple in their first AB!

If Buehler goes 7IP, then it feels hopeless for the Braves.

And just like that, Braves have scored, now 3-1 LAD.

I just dont understand why u would take out ur ace. Not like he's pitchin in Game 7 anyway. Have him go 8 or 9, and then he will get a few days off before potential WS.

Im sick o' these pussy managers.
