(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is marginally better than Foles.

That's not my take at all.

The fact that you won't answer the question about production is all that matters. Ignore the fact that (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky can also make plays running and stick to passing. Plant your flag on Foles doing far better than 2019 (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky in passing.

Production is points. I've already said the team will average more points with Foles. They'll average more PPG this year with Foles than they did last year with your preferred QB, adjusting for TOs, defensive TDs, etc.

Btw, your obsession with running is meaningless. What value did it add last year? The honest answer is not a thing.
(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky didn't get to run last year and his rushing yardage was way down. The only game he truly did get to run and throw was arguably the 2nd best of his career behind the 6 td game.

Still though, Foles seems to be on pace to provide similar production to 2019 (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky, and you aren't even willing to say if you think Foles will outperform the stats put up by him in a year he was not very good.

I think Foles is marginally better but it is not a very big difference. Mitch runs better and has a better chance of creating something out of nothing. Foles knows how to read coverage for the most part and knows where everyone should be. Neither are very accurate.

Both would be better with a good o-line.
Mitch is a better athlete while Nick is a better leader.
They should take a page from the Saints and use both of them.

There's quite a bit of doubt among those us who have watched Foles and Mitch their entire careers

How bored do you have to be on a Monday to insert yourself into a Foles Trubinsky debate. Slow day at work?

Yes, it's been humiliating to see how I've been bested by the "he can't throw or read, but he can run. Except for last year when he didn't. But he can still run! Except for this year when he...didn't. Maybe because it doesn't matter? But if it did matter he could still run!" line of thought.

Will Foles put up much better numbers in 2020 than (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky did in 2019? YES OR NO.

Ref's gotta put a stop to this one, the CFMB heavyweights are double and triple teaming this poor veganfan, this match is totally out of control. I don't think this is what this young man signed up for.

When all is said and done, its about Super Bowl wins.

Foles has the same amount as the great Aaron Rodgers.

Let's "stick with Nick"

Good point. Nick Foles, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, same guy basically

Brick is really dug in on this and I really don't understand why.
Foles numbers are somewhat similar to mitch's right now, and that ain't bad considering he got only a fraction of the time Mitch got in practice, familiarizing himself with the receivers and working on timing.
Now that he's been getting starters reps I suspect that he'll be demonstrably better.
To say he has the same numbers as mitch when he had no experience with his guys is saying he's a shit load better than Mitch

Will Foles far outperform 2019 (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky? So far looking like he may not even be better at all.

They've been saying that about Foles for half a decade. Maybe it happens this season.

A maybe is better than you get with Mitch, who was in his 4th season as a starter.

Maybe! I guess we'll see.
Serious question though... do you feel as though both qbs have faced the same quality of opponent?

I don’t think anyone here is saying that Foles is great QB but I will take my chances with him to make the right call, read, and decision when it counts. I think Mitch is a rock head and looks to run instead of reading what is there. Teams decided last year to make him make a read and beat them with his arm and he couldn’t. If he happened to make the correct read the throws were all over the place but not where they should have been. Foles is way more accurate than Mitch but then again almost everyone is.
