(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is marginally better than Foles.

What are you basing this claim on?

Foles has been around a lot longer.

Foles has 51 career starts
(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky has 44 career starts

Yeah, but expecting Foles to finally figure out how to play well in year 9 is asking a lot.

They put up pretty much the same passing numbers and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is a far better runner.

He played very well in his 2nd year. He had a fantastic playoff run in his 6th year.

I think that's fair.

Are you willing to be the first to say that Foles this year will far outperform the stats put up by (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky in 2019 that no one considered good enough?

I'm not saying you go back to (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky but it seems like people are acting like we have the same Nick Foles who beat Tom Brady in the Super Bowl when instead we have a guy who currently has a 80.4 passer rating which is worse than any rating (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky had since his rookie year.

Brick i think that Foles will improve as he gets more 1qb reps. He doesn't do the dumb stuff (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky does and that's worth something.
At the end of it all, the Bears don't have a qb. The defense can carry this team very far, so the goal is finding a guy who hurts the offense less. I think that guy is Foles.

So, to be clear, no one is willing to say that Foles will significantly outperform (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky from 2019 as a passer.

There is the answer as to why I think (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is slightly better than Foles as of today. Foles is roughly the same as a passer with far less running ability.

And foles has far reater mental prowess.

I only care if it shows up on the field. I would choose Nick Foles to tutor my kid over (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky though.

My 4-iron has far greater mental prowess than (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is in Devin Hester territory.

I think he will given enough reps. Come playoff time (if he stays healthy) I think he will be every bit as accurate as Mitch was last year.

There's that too! But hey they'll have a more that capable backup then right? Lol

I'm confident Foles outperforms Mitch's performance against the Rams.
