I have a 65 and sometimes it seems too big for my room. Room size makes a big difference. I just have a 2 bedroom townhome so it definitely dominates my living room.

Similar here albeit a ranch. I got a slightly higher end (for 2019) Visio 4K (PQ65) from Dell, and got enough of a rebate to get a 27" Dell 4k monitor for my office to replace my ancient pair of 21" widescreens. The 65 also can double as a 4k computer monitor if I want to pair wireless keyboard and mouse to my laptop and hang out in my recliner, which is great for reviewing documents.

I have a LG OLED 4K I bought in late 2018. It's a great TV.

the guy I bought the house from was an audio nerd. the basement has in ceiling speakers and all the LRC wiring for 7.1 surround. I had to buy a new receiver because I was at 5.1 at the townhouse. He left the projector and screen as well. So, I'm going to ride this until it dies or I can't find lamps. Then I'll go nuts with the 4k or whatever is available.

I have to say though...playing video games on something this large took a bit getting used to. I was getting nauseous when I first fired it up. Had to stand to get used to it. I have a column in the basement, that the double rocker recliner straddles, so it's pretty close. Probably about 12' from your face to the screen.

a bit limited in the living room as the tv is over the mantle. still a 65, but that won't change.

My son got a 55 TCL from Costco for like $280. It looks amazing.

This time last year, their series 6 was supposedly the best bang-for-your-buck TV. I bought my parents a 55" series 4 for $300 and they were amazed how much better it was than their old non-HD TV. Granted, I am having problems with mine but they get some great reviews overall.

TCLs really are a roll of the dice. If you get a good one, it's a great deal. Or it could be dead in 6 months. I got a series 3 55" 4K for $225 earlier this year to replace a 10 year old 47 Vizio. Noticeably not as nice as the 65" Sony x900F upstairs, but for 225, it's 75% as good, and the kids could piss on it and I wouldn't care.

The only TV we have is a 42’ Phillips I bought in 2008. It was on clearance for $700. It’s insane how big of a TV I can get for $700 now and also insane how cheap I could get a 42’

My Guy, I have a Vizio 42 inch that I think I paid $650 for about 9 years or so ago. I will have it until it goes. We have 32" TV's in our bedroom,

must be a DeKalb thing. I got one too off craigslist, cost me all of 300 because a pixel was bad. Don't even notice it.

I only have a 32"...never home to watch it, so why bother getting something bigger?
