I have a bad feeling it’s gonna be Harbaugh.

And not the good Harbaugh.

Why hasn't Pete Carmichael landed a head coaching gig yet?

That would be hard for him to coach from beyond the grave, but I’d pay money to see it.

Unless you’re talking about Jr.

Then idk the answer.

He's been with New Orleans since 2006

QBs coach 2006-2009. OC 2009-present. Article I found says his most notable HC interview came in 2013 with the Bears.

I never mentioned Mahomes, or gave credit to Bienemy for the GOAT’s greatness.

You guys are reaching pretty bad right now.

I’d suggest reading up on Mr. Bienemy.

You still haven’t mentioned why you want him and I’m quite certain you didn’t know who he was a year ago but the floor is yours to make the case.

Rodgers fucking with the media is a great part of the Rodgers fan experience.

Vic Fangio should be available soon.

How about 49ers D coordinator Robert Saleh. I bet he'd like to throw bombs

Exactly. Make your case as to why.

It is kind of a crappy position for Bienemy. He maybe a great head coach, but it is really hard to judge anything right now. He was handed the keys to a great offense led by a great QB.

But I highly doubt the Bears go the KC route again after the Nagy experiment.

It would be extremely funny if they took Bienemy as the HC and then drafted Howell from UNC as the QB.

Those wouldn't necessarily be bad moves, but it would just be fun to see the reactions

Does Josh McDaniels work? Maybe round 2 for him goes better than round 1.

I would be all in on that now.

My biggest concern with Nagy was that he had only worked for Andy Reid prior to becoming the head coach here. McDaniels has had a lot of different experiences. Plus, he could get Kyle Orton out of hiding to coach the quarterbacks.

My only problem with Nagy is he does not have a great offensive line. He had a more than decent line with Mitch his first year. Maybe by luck but he did. Bottom line it does not matter what coach and offense you run until you get a matching offensive line.

Pace is on the line for that. Also, you can just take a good lineman her and there. There must be a common goal of types of linemen that do what you want to do best.

The offensive line also looks worse when you have a guy that can't move at all. The pass rush has no reason to be scared that Foles will run for a first down if the field opens up.

I’d look around at what team has consistently drafted really good offensive linemen and hire whoever their guru is ( if available obviously ). You can always find a good running back and behind a good offensive line even an average QB will do fine. Much like a band , a good drummer will make everyone else sound better ( Just don’t get Furious Styles, that guy sucks ) . It all starts with getting your O-line good .

this x1000.

The line is putrid, it was putrid to start the season. It's the main problem. You cannot run the ball with this team for four quarters.

The Bears never seem to pick GM from good organizations. Get me someone from Pittsburgh or Baltimore. They hire great executives and administration who always seem to get the most out of their talent.

pick a GM who has proven he can draft a good OL. That cannot be tough to figure out.

First heard about him during 2018 afc champ game.

Every chiefs game I’ve watched since then he’s brought up as a highly regarded OC who is destined for a head coaching gig.

Also, a former NFL player who can relate to current pros.

The thing I think Bears fans would appreciate right off the bat is that he holds his players accountable.

I’ve seen him on the sideline yelling at Kelce one game, and then his offensive line in a different game.

He’s got a little red ass in him.

That’s my case.

Also, this is the most I’ve ever thought or typed about Eric Bienemy.

Even if they find an underwhelming GM, I’m fine with that GM using all their draft picks on offensive line, and then spend big money on top tier Offensive linemen in free agency.

It is that serious.

This should be the end of Sweaty Teddy.

The next GM needs to come from someone other than him.

Yep.

If not all, then at least the first half of the draft picks need to be OL.

You can’t throw a top tier QB draft prospect behind this current line without completely ruining them.

Long ago Jim Finks was that guy. At this point it might be better to just take the Wisconsin, Iowa or Nebraska O lines in total.
