Fair enough. Just surprised at some posts in here about this. I watch as much nfl football as I can and they just seem like a run of the mill bad OL to me. Nothing historic about it imo.

Agreed. Even in a normal year those rankings are imperfect at best. But I can imagine there’s several fan bases across the country that would swear up and down they have the worst OL in the league.

Regarding the O line I think the Bears are skewed when they get rated. Running and run blocking for instance. Montgomery is not fleet of foot and they also do not attempt an average amount. So it is more likely to seem as if the are simply god awful. If they ran 30 times a game the picture might appear different.

I think he would be signed already if he had a salary ask commensurate with his production. He isn't a top 10 WR and I think he proved that in a prove it year. He's great but when you compare him to the elite he just isn't there.

Yep...it seems every week the Bears' opponent has at least one (sometimes even two) WR I would take over ARob. He's a #2 in my book.

Let him hit free agency and he will not even be the #1 WR on the market over the summer. I like what he does but I think he's been deluded into overestimating himself because he's surrounded with suck.

he's more valuable to the Bears than he is to other teams. But I don't know why any WR would play here until the QB position is addressed. Sure, you can pick up garbage time stats here and there if our QBs have the occasional good day, but you won't win.

Doubtful. GB offered him the same money Chicago did when he was a FA and he said he didn't want to go to Green Bay. That's why I don't feel bad for him when people point out how bad his QBs have been throughout his career.
