Said earlier in the top secret FB chat that there are big Ryan Pace vibes around trading Wendell/#4 for #2 and getting a guy you probably could have had at 4 anyway.

If they trade for 2 and do not take Wisemen, I will already be done with AK.

That's fair.

I said when he was hired I want to give AK the benefit of the doubt and give him like a 1.5-2 year grace period before bitching that he sucks but if he gives up Wendell to move up two spots, or drafts Ball at all tonight, that's gonna already test my patience.

Bulls made some very Anti-Reinsdorf moves this summer handing the car keys to a total outsider and then actually hiring a coach who has coached before so I think some optimism and patience are warranted a bit.

Ball is going to be the best player in this draft.

Got a lot of respect for your sports thoughts but I’m gonna say there’s close to a 0% chance of that being true.

This might be the worst NBA draft since the Marcus Fizer debacle back in 2000.

That's the rumor. Seems to me it's equally likely it's a 2013 draft where there's a couple players scattered throughout the 1st round that end up great but a super weak top of the draft

Michael Redd. But yeah that's gotta be at least in the team photo for worst sports drafts of all time.

JC was dope for awhile. Classic 6th man with some razzle dazzle handles. Underrated crossover.

Crawford has always been underrated. But there's really not a question of who was better between him and Michael Redd. Like Stevie Franchise, when Redd fell off, he fell off a fucking cliff

If he plays this year he will surpass 20k points. Not many guys do that..maybe 50 in history.

I remember during his 3rd or 4th season when Crawford came back from an injury and went on a tear in points and assists to close out the season. I thought the big 3 were headed toward a championship. What a huge disappointment they turned out to be. Add that to the stupid sports thoughts post.

During the start of the pandemic, Bill Simmons did redrafts of nearly every season for the last 20 years. The one on 2000 was one of the best and entertaining watches I found on youtube.

Loved that whole series.

Also got a big kick out of the backlash against the one titled "A Truly Sad Week in America, Plus the 2005 NBA Redraftables With Ryen Russillo"
