Like assuming Klay is fine GS is assuming they're contenders, and I think that's reasonable. But if Klay is out long term you're...not contending. May be the difference between going for it and blowing it up.

If this was a normal draft I'd agree. Considering it's universally regarded as the weakest draft class of the past decade I think GS plans dont change. Steph was vocal over the summer about wanting to get back out there at 100% and compete. I think even if it's a torn ACL GS is going to do what they can to put the best team out there this year.
