When Hawk is calling a game and giving a solid opinion, I have no problem with him, its the constant ump bashing and excuse making that gets to me, but for sure, when he puts that stuff aside, he is solid. Last night they were making a comment about Cust and his stirkeouts and DJ said, "well hawk, at least you didnt strike out over a 100 times in a season", replied, "sure I did", I dont know what, but I appreciate a guy who doesnt let that go..I dont know, sorta gave me a bit more respect for the guy. He is still to much of a homer, but I do give credit where credit is due and Hawk did a solid job last night.

Fuckin' Danks. He had nothing today but only gave up 1 run through 6 innings. I don't think that run was earned. Funny. He almost had a no hitter last game and lost. Today he has nothing and wins.

Fuck. Twins lost a 5 run lead but held on to win.

Beardown, Minnesota did come back to win 7-6 over sucky Seattle at the DAMN METRODOME!!! I'm counting the days when the Twins start a 14 game road trip due to the Republican National Convention. As for the White Sox, they won, but could've lost today as well. Danks walked 5, but got 3 clutch DPs from his infield in 6 innings of work. The Sox also left 13 men on base. Usually, teams lose when 13 are LOB.

When you're playing an offense as bad as Oakland's, you can get away with some wasted opportunites.

Too bad they blew Friday's game else they could have been looking at a sweep tomorrow.

Yesterday we lost a game we should have won. Today we won a game we should have lost. It should be 1-1 and it is. See, we always bitch about the tough loses. We never say it was a "lucky win". This is one of them.

We left so many on base and Danks got lucky with some double plays. Some of them were hard hit by the A's. Uribe snaged a liner with the bases loaded. Uribe made two double plays with the bases loaded. Uribe also had an RBI double that should have been caught.

Greg Zaun is not a softball player, and he kills us. Same thing with certain 'pi-ranahs' in Minneapolis.
