Pumpkin pie is over ratted. I mean if you have to choose one at the store, why go with that? Dumb.

If I could find a pecan pie that wasn't cloyingly sweet, that would be it.

The original French Silk from Poppin Fresh before they became Bakers Square and went to shit, that was a really good pie.

Yes!

Key lime or strawberry would be a distant second.

Line at the Orland Park Baker's Square off LaGrange was 2 hours long at one point today.

I like all of those, but I also like chocolate and lemon pudding pie in the crust my mom makes from scratch. Gonna try to make the crust tomorrow.

I had to pick up a Harvest Pumpkin pie from the Gurnee Bakers Square. Line of cars was crazy, but they had a pretty efficient setup....done in about 15 minutes.

Favorite just depends on the season. Pumpkin, lemon cream or meringue, Pecan, Apple, Banana Cream, French Silk. For some reason, Cherry is my least favorite, but it's still enjoyable.

My dad used to live in Gurnee. That is the probably the same Bakers Square we used to get our pies from.

Worked at Great America for a summer when I was 15. Lots of memories in Gurnee.

Reminds me of the funny Eugene Levy quote after Jason Biggs fucks a pie in American Pie. "We'll just tell your mother we ate it all".

What's funny about saying that you're going to tell someone you ate something?

My mom’s chocolate pie was a family favorite for years. It not a French silk style - more dense and a bit bittersweet. A dollop of fresh whipping cream tops it off. My wife is making it this year for the first time but the recipe was hand-written with less detail than one would hope for so some improvising may be necessary.
