Cobra Kai s1 also done (great), halfway through s1 of Arrow.

you should just drop Arrow from that lineup. It's pretty good for a while and then it goes to crap. Overall, the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

I guess David Fincher has a new movie on Netflix called Mank. Sounds interesting:

1930s Hollywood is reevaluated through the eyes of scathing wit and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz as he races to finish "Citizen Kane."

Fuck David Fincher. Asshole gave up on his best product, "Mindhunters". Bill Tench needs to be saved.

Agreed. I regularly google updates about a season 3.

Season 2 was really getting good when it ended abruptly

The opening post of this thread should be edited to be a running recommendations thread similar to the books thread.

Or a new thread created, Sonoma doesn’t have to sift thru 30 pages.

Just a thought

Watching “Peppermint” with the wife.

Like a half baked John Wick with Jennifer Garner in the Keanu role.

Cool twist in the 3rd act.

Nothing too memorable.

If you don't watch Occupied, you're an idiot. Finished first 9 eps of season one and it's really really good.

If you can handle subtitles you've got no excuse not to watch this show.

Same goes with To the Lake and Into The Night.

I watched this based on seeing this post and I REALLY liked it. This is not any easy movie to follow if you aren’t at least somewhat aware of the story behind this film, but it is beautifully shot and acted. I like movies that don’t spell everything out and requires you to think a little. After the movie I hit Manks wiki page and I think the movie did a great job telling the story. Loved it.

Challenger: The Final Flight was excellent. 4-episode documentary.

Watched the first Manhunt about Richard Jewell. That fat hick really got fucked over. Overall it wasn't worth the time.

I started watching that. Shut it off after five minutes. Not sure why they made it considering it was nearly identical to the movie.

Saw it too; very interesting. The one thing that irritated me was that daughter of the NASA engineer- "He would pound the dashboard of our car and say a shuttle was going to blow up". She was being way too over dramatic and it seemed like she was enjoying the attention.

Finished s1 of Umbrella Academy; very good by using old music during action sequences. This show and "The Boys" did a real good job with the music choices.

Yeah that lady was super annoying. Definitely think she is exaggerating things.

I just don't get a couple of those old guys who were in charge back then not having any remorse really for making such a bad decision.

Planning to watch Cobra Kai season 3? I do, but not too excited about what I've heard so far about the plot. I think the nostalgia is great, but I'm not sure how long they draw it out.

Agreed. The title should be changed to include Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, ect.

With that said, check out Skin "The History of Nudity in Movies" on Hulu.

Very interesting. Not gratuitous but shows all the nudity. Angie Dickinson looked damn good when she got naked. Lots of old school bush! :thumright:

There already is a prime thread.

You can always create a Hulu thread if you’d like.
