I’m generally a fan of letting a new GM hire his own coach but That firing has not aged well.

3 playoff appearances in 9 years , the last year they were 7-1 and missed the playoffs . Missed the playoffs 4 of his last 5 seasons . Never could fix the offense. He certainly want an automatic “gotta keep this guy” .
