not conceding anything but this game is as important to our playoffs as our own

Goff, Kupp and Henderson out. Akers questionable.

Murray playing for Cardinals. I think he is injured but making a go of it but that should take away a component of his game.

Ram defense feasts

Rams 21
Cardinals 13

It's ok to admin this is the only game that really matters for the Bears playoff hopes.

Gonna be tough on the Rams without their offensive guys.

Look at the the Rams starting QB's Wikipedia page. If this guy can put up 10 points it will be a miracle. The Bears have to win. They will get no help.

New York Jets

After going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, Wolford signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets. He played in most of the preseason finale against the Philadelphia Eagles, completing 8 passes on 20 attempts for 89 yards and an interception.[5][6] He was cut from the Jets on September 4.[7]
Arizona Hotshots

The Arizona Hotshots drafted Wolford with their second-round pick in the 2019 AAF QB Draft. He entered the preseason competing with first-round pick Trevor Knight for the starting job; in the Hotshots' sole preseason game against the Birmingham Iron, Wolford completed 9 of 14 passes for 116 yards, a touchdown, and a two-point conversion. He was named starter prior to the regular season.[8]

In the first game of the regular season, a 38–22 win over the Salt Lake Stallions, Wolford completed 18 of 29 passes for 275 yards, four touchdowns, and two two-point conversions; for his performance, he was named Week 1 AAF Offensive Player of the Week.[9][10] He earned a second Player of the Week award in Week 7, when he completed 15 of 19 passes for 212 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and a 126.3 passer rating and ran for a 35-yard touchdown in a 32–15 victory against the San Diego Fleet.[11]

Los Angeles Rams

On April 10, 2019, Wolford signed with the Los Angeles Rams of the NFL after the AAF suspended operations.[12] He was waived during final roster cuts on August 31, 2019,[13] but was signed the next day to the Rams' practice squad.[14] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Rams on December 31, 2019.

Following an injury to starter Jared Goff during a Week 16 game against the Seattle Seahawks, Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed on December 28, 2020, that Wolford would start the final game of the season against the Arizona Cardinals.[15] Wolford would become the first quarterback to make his first start with a team during Week 17 with a playoff berth on the line since Kyle Orton with the Dallas Cowboys in 2013.[16]

Cardinals lost to a less talented 49ers offense starring Beathard last week. I think Cam Akers is really important. Hope he can play

Not sure 49ers offense is less talented when they have Kittle. He covers up a lot of flaws.

But yeah the Cardinals aren't good.

I thought if the Bears won it wouldn’t matter what the Cardinals did. Don’t they basically control their destiny, and the Cardinals have to hope that the Bears lose?

Yes that’s correct.

But the Bears are gonna lose.

I bet Pettine hasn't caught a wink of sleep this week due to the looming threat posed by the NFL's 5th-leading rusher, David Montgomery.

Bears are basically just a worse version of the titans, right? Could get ugly on Sunday the more I think about it.

If the Bears are who I think they are then they should be out of it by half time.. if they are who I hope they are it should be a good game.

Pagano needs to coach much better situational football tho, and dial something up early. Rodgers can hang 40 on you even if you play careful and don’t blitz -so might as well dial up early and start knocking him around from the start.

If you can’t get there with 3? Send 4. If 4 doesn’t work, send 5.. and so on. Put Rodgers on his ass every single play you can. Don’t worry about a few completions or bullcrap penalties.

Also, play the Billy B game and take away the main weapon -Adams. It’s Rodgers so I’m sure he’ll still find guys but take away the main guy.

But Chuck won’t do any of this. He’ll sit back in shells with the occasional bullshit safety blitz that Rodgers sees coming a mile away, he’ll sit back on any 3rd and long plays giving Rodgers 10 minutes to make a decision on where he wants to throw the ball.. fuck, I hate this team lol

Cards back up qb just threw a bad pick 6. rams up. there were only 25 seconds left in the half. no reason to throw the ball, just down it and go into halftime w/ the lead.

Rams had first and goal from the 2, and also from the 1 on a drive in the first half and only ended up with a field goal.

I'm not sure how much worse the Rams offense is without Goff.

Agreed. He is too short to pass from the pocket and he's not durable enough to be running and moving around.
