If that is true, he should be fired for stupidity. The offense had its best performances without him calling plays. Lots of runs today, though, which is un-Nagy-like.

This was the first time this season that I have seen the Packers make multiple mistakes and still just brush an opponent aside. The amount of coaching and effort that goes into making mitch look tolerable is ridiculous. He shit his pants the few times he actually had to read a defense. I won’t argue the Foles comment but Mitch is not good. You need to stop with this. He is not even average. The defense knows it’s a run or short pass pretty much every time. You can’t win against a decent team with such a limited playbook.

It's interesting to read how great the Packers are in every thread but the one about how losing to them reflects on the Bears.

The Bears had a good offensive gameplan if their defense wasn't torched by Rodgers in the first half. Even catching the easy interceptions thrown by Rodgers three times(two on the same drive though) gives them a chance to win.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is an average quarterback. While impefect, he finished 20th in QB rating, had a 2 to 1 td/int ratio, and even his y/a was 24th in the league.

He's not a guy you want running your team on a big contract just like most average quarterbacks so unless you can get him cheap then it's time to let him walk.

Mitch got to come in against the weakest teams on the schedule after they fixed the O line and moved C.W. and after Nagy gave up the Playbook

He fixed the OL because he wasn't a statue back there. They were much better whenever he was playing.

Also, 2019 (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was also better than Foles so it isn't just the schedule.

I think we can stop the Foles vs. Mitch argument. The Bears lose this game regardless which one of those two was playing quarterback. The Packers are a step up in class for them talent-wise, and it showed on both sides of the ball.

I think when we got Mack we all thought we we just needed Mitch to be decent and the Bears would be great. Now that the D has fallen off, there are just way too many holes to fill to be considered a “top ten” type of team.
