I'm 100% sure Marinelli won't be DC...but I am worried they're going to let him stay. A lot of the candidates have ties to Marinelli so I don't want a new DC but Marinelli hanging on as defensive line coach. First off everyone on the line REGRESSED this season except for Hankins so he's not even a good coach. It would seem he had to kiss the ring to get the job. That was the only part of the Zoom call I didn't like. The most important thing he said was we'd be as multiple as we can stay fast. He doesn't want them thinking too much which is the opposite of what we had. Compton said a normal defense would have about 30 calls in the gameplan for the week and Guenther had 30 for 3rd down alone. Plus he would call things during the game not even in the gameplan. Watching the game film there was often someone waving their arms because they didn't know or didn't get the call.

Brugler has us taking LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah from Notre Dame in the 1st. I don't see it. We already have Tanner Muse. I think we're going with an edge guy or an offensive tackle if we release Trent Brown. In the 2nd round he us taking DT Jay Tufele. This would be a great pick and fills our biggest need. It sucks this draft doesn't seem to have any elite defensive tackles or safeties. Barmore from Alabama is probably the only one that could go in the 1st...maybe Nixon from Iowa.

Athletic freak in coverage, but struggles shedding blocks from the sounds of it. Doesn't excite me, especially if Bradley can get the most out of Littleton.

Barmore, Nixon, and Tufele all have some nice tape. It sucks Marinelli is still around because anything can happen. He's the same jackass that jumped up on the table for Taco Charlton over TJ Watt and Trysten Hill a guy so inept it doesn't look like he's playing the same sport as everyone else. We'll know Bradley is in charge if Vickers gets released because he's on a Marinelli scholarship program. PFF is garbage but we had the worst graded DT and the 10th worst graded DT getting the most minutes inside. Collins and Vickers killed us and they were both Marinelli guys. Give Hankins another 2 year deal and draft one of the above 3 and we'll be a lot better (plus a healthy Hurst). David Irving also looked pretty good in his limited time.

Damien did a mock draft database of 20 mocks. All of them have us going defense but I think that could change if we release Trent Brown. Here's how it breaks down:

1. Kwity Paye (5)
2. Gregory Rousseau (4)
3. Christian Barmore (3)
4. Jeremiah O-K (3)
5. Trevon Moehrig (1)

Paye is very similar to Ferrell. Rousseau is similar to Nassib and Irving and would be a project. Barmore is interesting but he was kind of a slow starter at Alabama. Jeremiah O-K is the guy Brugler likes and I'm starting to think he'd be a good pick in Bradley's system. I don't see Moehrig getting into the 1st round unless he tests really well which can be tough without a combine.

The guy I like the most right now and wasn't picked for us by any of the mocks is LB Zaven Collins. If he runs 4.6 at his size he might not be there when we pick. He would be perfect for the way Bradley likes to play the SAM. He should be able to slide over to end on 3rd down.
