It's down the street from Old Fashioned Donuts, 113th and Michigan. But parking is tough there, so you'd probably want to take public transportation.

wait a minute, somebody said it was on the north side or some shit.

If I go there and get killed, Telegram Sam will be pissed at you. You need to think about how this will affect Telegram Sam.

Please go there. Please get killed. Telegram Sam, with MANY others, will rejoice.

Did u really go at that time or did u lie to us?

Bumping the old thread, I am planning on picking up dinner at Mr. Sam's emporium of fine burgers on Saturday evening after I get to O'Hare.

Is asking for Sam going to be met with confusion or a laugh?

Depends on whether or not you first get a fade from one of the many shops in the area.

I think Tommy referred to him as the handsome man with sideburns or something to that effect. It’s in the Yelp review. Beware, nsfw.

When I was there about a year ago, it was just Sam and a bearded hippie millennial. The young guy knew just who I was talking about when I said "Sam", who was back in the kitchen. If you want to be certain, message Sam via Facebook ahead of time, he said he was following FB more then CSFMB, our loss.

I remember that. Sam was "big guy with sideburns" and the other one was "hairy little hippie."

No idea how to message him on FB, I am not part of the secret society.

He uses the same name on LTH (As do a few others here) so I suspect I can find him when I arrive.

Did he say why he quit the board? He didn’t seem like he was involved with the political debates which is usually what leads posters to take a break.

His last post was “this board sucks” or something to that effect. I remember seeing that and then a week or so later noticing he wasn’t posting. I think the antagonist environment probably lt was wearing on him. Or perhaps it was wearing on me and I’m projecting.

I approve of the sideburns look. Still haven't made it down there yet. Might be planning a night in Chicago trip with the wife in the next 6 weeks or so. Stopping by on the way home may happen.

I actually called him at BRGRBELLY to discuss his absence, fearing a health issue or such. He assured me he was okay, but frustrated with several posters and their antics. He indicated the FB secret CSFMB society was less frustrating, but I have never been there, either. ISOP, indeed.

I won't be getting there until 8:30. Even if he has left for the night, I have wanted to patronize his business since this all started.

Did we lose him because The Hawk wasn't banned, and then The Hawk was banned and FavreFan was the only one who came back?

Yup. Lurks from time to time in certain sections, but that's it.

Its our loss. the Sams and Don Tinys of the CFMB are all time greats. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, Peeps came back.

Or not.

I agree Frank, especially the fantastically bright, funny posts from DT and Sam, responses like theirs kept me here for a long time.
