Ok the World baseball classic is starting right now. Live on ESPN. Its Japan vs Korea. Its being played in Tokeo. So if one of these teams advance then they have to come to the states. How is that fair traveling all that way. I thought this entire tournament was going to take place in Arizona so all countries can get used to time zones?

"The China?"

But you're happy that the calendar has turned to the March.

LOL.

Check out the patch of the American flag on the right sleeve of our USA team. Why are the stars on the right side of the flag instead of the left. Anyone got an answer.

This info comes right from Majestic Athletic, the official jersey supplier to 15 of the 16 teams (screw you Japan!). They called the Department of Defense, and accorinding to them, official flag protocol states that the flag must be shown that way when worn on a garment. Something about the flag blowing AWAY from the subject wearing it. From what I understand, they did do a lot of research about this and this is the "correct" way, although odd looking.

I thought there was a legit reason. I didn't think USA baseball would make that mistake. It's odd however, because the flag is normal on the side of the cap. And when MLB wears the flag on the cap it is normal. Oh well just an observation.

Why is the flag sometimes backwards on the side of airplanes, buses, and other vehicles?

The flag decals have the union (the blue area with the stars) on the side closer to the front of the plane. On the plane's left, the decal shows the flag with the union at the left, as usual. On the plane's right side, the union is on the right. This is done so that the flag looks as if it is blowing in the wind created by the forward movement. You can see this on cars and trucks as well.

I found this flag info, and odds are it applies to sleeves of jerseys. Here's a website with TONS of interesting flag facts:
