I didn't know that John Unitas was traded to the Chargers for the draft rights to Bert Jones. And then benched for Dan Fouts after 3-4 games.

Id take Romo, Luck, Stafford, Trent Green and a dozen other guys over Cutler..bad list

There were some really god awful trades for QB's in the '70s. This trade, the Browns trading Paul Warfield for the rights of Mike Phipps, then the Bears trading a 1st round pick for Phipps (who had a good half season in '79 and that was it). The Packers traded two first AND second round picks for an over the hill John Hadl in the mid 70's. You wonder what these GM's were smoking back then
