looks like snow came pretty hard and quick just after midnight, just relax they'll get there this morning

It's hard to get a good read on it because of how windy it is...it looks like maybe 3" tops on the deck and 1-1/2-2 on my driveway.

Wind is blowing pretty hard in Kenosha. I had about 3.5 inches at best guess on parts of my driveway that seemed like they hadn't drifted much. I have a snow blower and thankful for it but doesn't always do well in deep snow so I take the approach that I would rather go out a couple times than struggle once. By the time I finished in about 75 minutes of using the blower and shoveling other stuff it appeared another solid inch had fallen. Calling for 6-9 inches total and I am just a few blocks from Lake Michigan so if there is lake effect I should see some of that. Not as wet and heavy as they thought so happy about that.

4-5" with a little more lake effect still falling. Pretty easy work for my old snow blower.

Not really that bad on the south side. They've started plowing side streets during this apparent pause. And the work I had has been postponed or already set for Thursday and Friday. Now I just have to keep my front walk and steps clear for the delivery of my package from Amazon of old guy walking shoes and vitamins.

They called it 6" here in Kenosha this morning. Really hard to tell with the blowing suppose that sounds reasonable. I think
they actually got it a bit worse up by Hawg which is fine with me.
