Embarrassing!

Three touchdowns in that game were embarrassing.

Stop this one at 3 seconds.

The moment Amos realizes "Damn, I'm supposed to cover that guy"

RIP amos' career. He's the first secondary player to ever be faked out by play action on the goal line. never happened before and will never happen again in our lifetimes.

Look at how he had to avoid Jaire Island. Didn't even touch it!

I don't like how my Amos argument has mutated. I never said he was bad. He's a perfectly acceptable safety. It wasn't a great contract and there are players at his level of ability every off season who sign one year deals.

Amos and Ha Ha was a wash. I like Gipson this year and I hope we can re sign him

correct, because the packers wasted so much more money on Amos than the Bears did on Dix.

I'm sure you think Amos brings intangibles, because you don't have any statistical evidence he was better

If you're measuring Safety play by statistics you're really just looking to push an agenda either way. This one isn't tough to sort through. For the past few years, Haha makes defenses he goes to worse, Amos makes them better, Amos was an above average starter this year and Haha is on his way out of the NFL. You lost this one about as thoroughly as one can.

So you and Kirkwood were simply pushing an agenda when you cited poor tackling stats after the Bears signed Ha Ha.

Thanks.

In response to you pushing coverage stats.

Anyway, the rest of the post you left out sums this one up.

Well if you keep moving the goalposts...

The question was never was Amos better than Ha-Ha. The question was Ha-Ha at one year or Amos for MANY years. For the one year the Bears had Ha-Ha, there wasn't that much difference with their safety play.

He was over paid to make that play, and a few others, in order to help get them over the hump to a Super Bowl. he did not make them.

The second and third string safeties the Bucs were forced to trot out, MADE THOSE PLAYS.

Correct, but the Pace went out and over paid Jackson, just like the Packers did with Amos.

It's not a gut feeling to say Amos played well this year and Haha is on his way out of the league. That's a statement backed by facts.

so you know for sure amos had brate in coverage and not gronk? because the way amos reacts it looks like if anything he was watching gronk and when gronk didnt run a route he instinctively came in to hekp with run support while the corner just let brate go by him.

You must be watching a different replay then the one I posted.

He had inside, Alexander had outside. You can watch Alexander back off when he heads straight up the field.

What do you have on him whiffing on Fournette's touchdown?

Or following Brady's eyes toward Scotty Miller on the 30yd screen play to Gronk?

I'm sorry the Pack over paid for a guy who's sphincter tightened up in the biggest game of his life.

Last year there was no expectation of the Pack winning that game.

This year, the opposite was true.

It's pretty clear in that video that there was only one defensive player who could have covered Brate

Packer fans enjoy trolling us poor Bear fans all year long.

As soon as I post actual facts with video, I'm trolling.

Brady moves Amos with his eyes at 14 seconds, then throws back to Gronk.

https://www.buccaneers.com/video/gronk- ... e-playoffs

29 yards later, Amos arrives.

No, as I have studiously pointed out, with pictures, so even a Packer fan can understand, he did harm to the families of Packer fans.

they were man on the other side. the other safety had man coverage on the RB. this is why i think amos had gronk in man coverage and the the CB had brate since he was lined up outside.... so perhaps the CB thought they were in zone but they clearly werent

His cookies were VERY over rated when I was on gluten.

But Adrian Amos was a middling safety for the Bear made famous when the Pack over paid him.

And his legend grew when he picked off a pass from Mitch in his first game with the Pack.

Now that a guaranteed trip to the Super Bowl was upended by his play on Sunday, he is now a cause for Pack fans to play victim when reminded of their past proclamations of his greatness.
