If they are actually liquidating people's positions they've officially gone further than I've witnessed firms do.

It happens if theres like 20 minutes left in trading on a commodity so people dont have to deliver 50 thousand barrels of crude or something

Or if someone's account is so far negative we just need to close it

This....is a lot worse
