He was a guest on the SI Media Podcast about five months ago. Outstanding interview. I think the biggest reason he isn't a #1 on TV is that he likes to call a number of different sports and so he's more of a free agent.

His football radio PBP is excellent, he can make a mediocre Monday Night game worth keeping on in the car.
