Never heard these two together until this morning and it lasted about 22 seconds. Asked Alexa to "play 670 the score" and Dan Maddow was bitching about natural gas in Texas.

Have not listened to Bernstein in probably 8 months or so. So I obviously have not heard her.

Dan went from my favorite host in the early 2000's to unlistenable. When the Wentz news broke around noon 670 didnt cross my mind.

Only shows I listen to anyone in Chi is podcast of Waddle and Silvey if they have Barkely, Big Cat, a big Chicago sports thing happened and thats it.

Sometimes Kap and Hood in the morning.

This board is for more entertaining than Chi radio.

Also, probably not a popular belief on this Board, but Terry Boers is the most overrated guy to have been on the score. Not the worst, most overrated. Bernstein was the star when B&B were the best show.

The most overpaid by far was North who I could not stand. There could be a big game coming up or just finished and he would rant on some stupid story when he was a kid playing stick ball.

For my money there’s nobody close to Bernstein. Granted I liked the mean radio bit, but at his peak, he was the only guy I’d actually seek out in the early days of streaming or podcasts.

I like Terry. McNeil was good, and MJH was really my intro to sports radio, but nobody’s been as sharp, quick witted and funny as Bernstein. I’ll check the show out when I’m in the car 9-11 (which is all of 15 minutes a week these days), but it seems like he’s incapable of having fun from that admittedly limited listening window.

Listening back to the YouTube B&B highlights, half the time he’s giggling uncontrollably. It’s almost like he used to actually enjoy his job.
