 Let me put it this way, Frank - from where I'm sitting, you said "Tiger is done" about 63 minutes ago.

Is that clear enough for you?

If you are going to put quotes around a statement then attribute that statement to me, please be sure they are words I actually posted.

To make it perfectly clear here is what I actually posted;
Frank Coztansa wrote:
Tiger's days as a full/part time player are likely over. I'm sure he might be able to give it a go here and there (Masters, PNC Father Son, charity events, maybe a Champions tour event), but between the back and now the leg I don't see any way how a 45 year old guy recovers enough to be out there for 20+ tournaments a year.
"Likely over," doesn't mean done as much as you want to see it that way. "I don't see how he recovers enough," does not mean done. This was my opinion, and of course I could be wrong.

One of the hardest thing Tiger might have going against him is having to try to walk 18 four days in a row let alone swinging a club.

Breaking your legs does make it harder to walk.

Young Furious had a Kevin Ware style compound fracture. Watching Lakers/Celtics finals at 10:30pm on tape delay while riding a mean Demerol buzz was the highlight of my 2 week hospital stay.

At most he was on some pain killers. And after his last incident I doubt he's mixing Norco's and Xanaxs anymore. Assuming he woke up at a normal time and popped a couple pills, that alone wouldn't be enough to cause him to lose control or fall asleep at the wheel.

I'm guessing this is just an example of someone driving too fast on a dangerous street and possibly not paying attention. Instead of drawing blood they should check his phone records for texting activity. But with a 1 car crash there's no reason to bother with that.

That was my first thought as well since I saw the path of the car and didn't see any debris on the road. But, now I'm thinking that the car hit the curb and immediately started rolling. Any debris was cleaned up before that photo was taken.

That makes sense. I haven't really seen/heard much other than the picture of the car on the southbound side and that he was heading north.

Also, city wins again.

There was definitely a white wood sign he hit, I saw that. Looked like a possible property sale sign.

Looking forward to the WGC event this week. Moved from Mexico up to The Concession course in FL. I have really enjoyed the Mexico event so it is too bad they weren't able to host, but excited to see this course up close. It looks impressive in the pictures I have seen and I guess the greens are really tough. I will be able to carve out a little time this afternoon and watch.

Thank God that today is Thursday, which gives PGA Tour Radio something else to do after the last two brutal days of Nothing But Tiger. I am a Tiger fan, but JFC, you woulda thought he was dead with all the maudlin shit coming from them.

I am amazed by it and I shouldn't be. How every major channel is covering it.

Hovland with a tough way to finish a great round. Was -7 and quadrupled the last. Ouch.

I'm in Chicago and you're in AZ.

Bringing up my golf game is just plain rude.

I had a pin in my leg for 3 years. Never had an issue after with soccer, basketball or skiing (until I tore my ACL at Arapahoe Basin). My short game could use some work.

I listened to about an hour of the third round in the car driving back to O'Hare. It sounded like that par 5 on 13 was brutal for anybody who tried to go for eagle. I heard Rory (who got one of the two eagles for the day) interviewed after his round and he said he mishit his approach and got a lucky roll.

No Golf Channel for me back home, I'd actually pay the $5 for peacock premium if they would just simulcast all the tournament coverage there.

I saw a lot of balls in the water. Frankly I wish they would make these guys play challenging courses like this more often.

Between more challenging courses and less birdies on par 5s (every single player either birdied or eagled 17 today, just call it a fucking par 4), I think for most regular tour events the course should be laid out so that unless the weather is a factor the second place score is -10. For majors and the Tour Championship, the second place score should be -1.

  my bad. I asked because I read an interesting article about a former player turned orthopedic surgeon: https://news.yahoo.com/tiger-woods-able-walk-even-142612008.html

He claims the left foot/ankle takes more stress than your right. I assume your right-handed. I'm right-handed and completely disagree. Most of my power comes from my right. That's where all the drive and force comes from when I swing. This guy played golf in the 70s. Has the golf swing evolved since then?

I suffered a similar injury in 2018. Mine was a closed fracture however. The screws, pins, and rod are still in there after 3 years. I may look into removal in the near future as my range of motion could be a little better.

Really entertaining day today at Bay Hill. Hopefully that douche Dechambeau doesn't win. Other than that a pretty stacked leaderboard. Would be really sweet to see Westwood or Spieth pull it out tomorrow.
