That's how the guy I know who grew up there says it. Not "Puh-laski" the way we do in Chicago. I've personally never been there.

Ask anyone walking down the street outside of Chicagoland and they'll not know who he is.

I think he is pretty well know in the southeast.

He's a revolutionary war hero but not a founding father. I wouldn't expect the average jamoke to know. I bet most wouldn't know the French generals either

There is a statue of him in Savannah. I was surprised when I saw it.

That's how the guy I know who grew up there says it. Not "Puh-laski" the way we do in Chicago. I've personally never been there.
