Congrats. Hope it works out for you.

I was a 25% owner of a side business a while back with several friends. Turns out the guy I was most confident in turned out to be a lazy ass and it torpedoed everything. Was a nice side hustle for a year or so but it was too much of a pain in the ass to juggle with my full time job. Made some decent money but we ultimately sold the business.

My rich and slutty sister used to co-own a business with her worthless jerkoff boyfriend. She handled all of the business operations, but had no idea she was getting badly ripped off by one of her employees, who had embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time (She only became aware of this issue because a co-worker ratted the guy out.). Eventually she and her boyfriend sold their business, and she went back to managing large real estate investment funds. I can only begin to wonder how badly she is screwing things up at her current company, where she has been promoted twice in the past two years. The phrase "failing up" seems to have been coined with her in mind.

can I get digits for this slutty, rich sister

My sister and her boyfriend both read this board, although to my knowledge neither has ever posted. If she thought you were the right material, she would've PM'ed you by now.

I'm gonna have her take a look at GD's body of work and see what she thinks.

Think I might have found the right combination: 1.5 hybrid gummies, empty stomach, well-rested and caffeinated, and a couple beers. Had the perfect combination of chill and contentment. All my senses were heightened and my perspective was sharpened. Cold tater tots and honey ham were the perfect late night meal. The only way the night could have been better was if the wife wanted to mess around but she is still recovering from getting a tooth pulled. Went to sleep listening to a 1992 Nascar race on Youtube. Great Saturday night!

Furious Drum Protégé #1 met Steve Gadd last week. I'm proud he was aware of the guy's living legend status. Drumming will always be a hobby for my guy, but it's also a bond we will always share. Same goes for Protégé #2.

Furious Drum Protégé #3 was a major disappointment and did not take to it at all, so we've gone with a replacement as if nothing happened, like Chris on the Partridge Family. The new Chris was stagnating a bit on his toy kit, so I first hooked him up with one of my snare drums and later a 3 piece kit before he got one of his own. The improvement was startling and the best part is the kid really "gets it."

So much fun to watch and hear the progress.

Stephen Kendall Gadd is an American drummer, percussionist, and session musician. Gadd is one of the most well-known and highly regarded session and studio drummers in the industry, recognized by his induction into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1984

Gadd toured with Clapton for a while, so I'm happy to say I've seen him play live. Great musician.

Did Clapton play the rock version of Layla? Were you swaying your hands back and forth?

Watch as Gadd absolutely owns Dave Weckl and Vinnie Colaiuta at the Buddy Rich tribute show (that's Rich's daughter with the intro). I mean, Weckl and Colaiuta are monster drummers in their own right, but wait until Gadd kicks in with his mix of power, grace, non-obvious drum beats and next-level compositional skills. Even when they trade off, Gadd's work is utterly sublime. Weckl's mullet is pretty epic, though.

Our 8th grade son had an 18 point 1st quarter. His best play of the night - led a fast break and got a 5th grader a layup.

I got laid 10 days ago. When I came, she grabbed my ass and pulled it in tight to prevent me from pulling out.

My 4th-grader has been playing the alto sax for a little over a year now and is playing at about the high school level. It's amazing how quickly he picks some of this stuff up.

Having watched a lot of Dateline recently, those are excellent places to stay after or as you are murdering someone.

Just be certain to disable the security cameras in the stairwells so no one can account for your whereabouts.

Found a copy of Monday's paper tonight and bought it.

To commemorate the Illini's Big 10 title.

Was gonna buy it Monday but forgot about it until last night.

Hopefully worth something in 20 years.

Ended up getting a nice deal on a 20 ft fish and ski used considering there seems to be boat inflation. Actually had two others boat out from underneath me. Just some summer fun for tube and ski. Going to add some stuff for the fishing end. Keep me busy. And spending to be sure.
