I agree that the guy doing the review is an idiot, but Piece is definitively NOT "Chicago" tavern-style/thin crust pizza.

Frankly, it's not New Haven style either. I'm not sure what it is other than mediocre.

Does Coal Fire Pizza on Grand still exist? That would be a better representation of the New Haven style and is/was a FAR SUPERIOR pizza overall to anything produced by Piece. That said, even Coal Fire--though it is a very good pizza--doesn't really embody the New Haven style all that well.

The New Haven pizza actually served in New Haven is fantastic. Swimming in the ocean off the Connecticut shore at one of the glorious state beaches there and then running to New Haven for some pizza is a transcendent way to pass a summer day if you have kids. Highly recommended.

I don't listen to BFF as I know I'm not the target for that one since I don't use Tik Tok. Do you listen to the Dog Walk/Red Line Radio stuff? RLR is great for me as it's the type of banter that I feel most of us wish 670 still had. You can tell that these are guys who grew up listening to The Score when it was at its height.
