We beat Iowa last year but usually when our expectations are up, we lose. Sure enough, we've fallen in the ranks the last few weeks.

This game is frustrating to watch.

who woulda thought the Illini would win their last 3 games, all on the road, all against ranked opponents, including two top 10 teams?

This I bet has never happened for the Illini.

Closed the game on a 9-0 run. It looked like surefire doom there at 68-64.

Also, was a little surprised the Illini were underdogs by 2.5, considering they just beat Michigan on the road w/o Ayo, and now had Ayo back.

It takes 6 games to win it all. At some point during 5 of those games, the TOs and free throw shooting will doom them.

the road is a lot smoother for a #1 seed. It's a breeze into the sweet 16. Then, if any upsets happen you may not even have a good opponent until 8.
