I don't care how this plays out. The damage is done by trying to go cheap with your best player on the offense.

The players know if you become the best at your position, you still need to fight for your money. The front office now has the reputation as dumb and stupid. They spent AROD's money on a washed up DE and TE. SIgning AROD after you pissed him off does not change the players view. It only makes them look even more stupid because they ended up paying him top WR money anyway.

Jaguars signed DT Roy Robertson-Harris, formerly of the Bears, to a three-year, $24.4 million contract.
He gets $14 million guaranteed. Robertson-Harris will turn 28 in July. He missed half the season last year after requiring shoulder surgery. Prior to going down, he failed to register a sack. Robertson-Harris was one of the rising stars in the middle of the Chicago defense headed into 2020 after tallying 7.5 sacks the previous three seasons. He slides in next to Taven Bryan and 2020 third-rounder Davon Hamilton in the middle of the Jaguars' defensive line.
