Bauer had a cool tweet the other day about Hendriks.

When he pitched in the World Series in 2016, he looked unbelievably young. He also looked like Lewis from the original Teen Wolf.

From his interview, he sounds like a cool guy...Sox have the mojo this year.

In the 10th, he got 2 quick outs then walked the bases loaded. So he blew a save, then blew a win.

I love seeing the Twins lose, but IMO its tough to blame just one pitcher when you score 12 runs and still lose. And lose due to a throwing error.

I get it. He hasn't been good for the Twins. Still, 12 runs yesterday and lose 13-12, with the final two being unearned. When you lose like that, there is a lot of blame to go around IMO.

Also, the Sox bullpen has had plenty of stink as well. Rather than bash Colome, lets hope the Twins keep losing and the Sox pen keeps improving.

Yeah well, don't walk 2 guys. I used to coach pitching. There were times my guys would show their frustration at an error. I'd have to remind them that a walk is similar. Do they want their positional players ragging on them every time they walked a guy? Think about it. You have 4 chances to throw it a lousy 60 feet. And YOU CAN'T DO IT, Mr Golden Arm? Shuts 'em right up.

I hate walks too. But there are a lot more walks in a game than errors. Booting an easy grounder to second or third is a much bigger offense than a walk.

He got himself and his team in the jam after 2 quick outs and a 2 run lead. Throw the motherfucker over the plate. Less stress for EVERYBODY.

When you're a closer who can't strike people out and pitches to hard contact, those errors are a risk you take.

The Twins scored 12 runs and lost while committing two errors in the 10th inning. Its hard to me to pin that L on the closer, regardless of how good or bad he's been this season.

I don't care if the score was 23-21. It's irrelevant. What's relevant is the 2 run lead with 1 out to go. Yeah, the 3rd baseman choked big time. But at least it was a one time 110 foot throw and not multiple chance 60 footers.

There was the Cincy game he shit the bed. And against the Twins he walked in the winning run. Other than that, really good.

i guess liam didnt see a need to add movement to his fastball this off-season

They needed to acquire a setup man. Bummer is not that.
