Agreed, but it also might be beneficial to Cease if he wasn't worried about getting the hook as soon as he puts somebody on base in the third inning.

Show that you can consistently throw strikes and he probably wouldn't have to worry about that.

He dicks around too much trying to be too perfect.

He still a relatively young pitcher though. Part of learning would be to let him try to get out of his own Jam once in awhile.

Don't have 65 pitches in the third with everybody in the dugout and the guys behind him pulling out their hair. With a name like Dylan, guys will be on a short fuse anyway.
