It would follow Pace logic to cut a still young, productive corner from Virginia Tech and replace him with another young corner from Virginia Tech. Meanwhile, we sit here and wonder why it wasn't a combination of Jimmy Graham instead of Fuller in order to stay under the cap.

This pick follows the Jaylon Johnson line of thinking. Possibly the best corner in the draft with some injury concerns that make him fall. This is really a phenomenal CB group at the top and this guy is among the best

Why do you say that? Jaguars, Jets, 49ers, Lions, Panthers, Broncos all need a QB and pick in the top 9. Pats aren't far behind. Bears and WFT might move up for one.

If anything, I'd say it's the opposite and someone like Davis Mills sneaks into the 1st to a desperate team.

Most of the mock drafts seem to have either Fields or Jones falling out of the top ten and be available at 14. It is possible that there is a big run on quarterbacks though and all of them go in the top ten.

Bears will trade up for Fields. Total job security for Nagy and Pace...you don't want to upset the apple cart of a young QB's development by firing the Coach and GM.

If he drops to #10, I would think Pace makes the call.

I really wouldn't be opposed to it as I like Fields, but everyone has to see the "game" here by Pace..he's trying to buy another "Window"..he should have never been allowed another draft...

I like Fields too, but this trading up and losing multiple picks is getting old.

Just too many unknowns with QB. I want them to stay at 20 or trade down.

The only mock I've seen Fields falling far in is Chris Simms, and everyone seems to be ridiculing that.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow. That would be wild if Fields fell out of the top 10.

The Bears should have a number of solid, well-regarded prospects available for them at their spot in positions of need.

So, with that in mind, is that what they will do? No....



Pace has to feel like he's found something more valuable than people realize. So he will go with Dillon Radunz OT from ND St.

I like him as a player but he'd be there later. He'd be an excellent R2 pickup. But too high for the Bears in R1. So, that's what they'll do.

You guys need to trade up to #17 so Washington can't steal Jones from you. You guys get Jones and we get Jenkins (plus an extra pick) and everyone is happy.
