Yes, Fields belongs in the NFL. Mac Jones don't. Trey Lance is the 2nd best QB. That Wilson from byu is boom or bust. Hes Rogers or Haskins.. No inbetween

As a person who loves the draft, I have to say that the market for pre draft coverage in its many forms has been oversaturated.

Yes, shakes belongs in the law field, DiCaro don’t. Good Dolphin is the 2nd best lawyer. That Stav from North Dakota is boom or bust. Shes either Amy Cohen Barrett or Lionel Hutz.. No inbetween.

Chris Simms' mock draft had Justin Fields going 32nd to Tampa.

No chance that actually happens but it's interesting to see.

If Fields drops to 20 and the Bears pass, Pace should be executed on the spot.

Agreed, but there are 7 or 8 teams with a major need for a QB in front of the Bears. I’d be stunned if NE passes on him for instance.

If Fields drops to 10 or lower, Pace should be on the phone.

Yeah, I think Simms is out of his mind if he thinks that 1) NE wouldn’t take him, and 2) Fields makes it all the way down to 32.

Yeah god forbid the Bears miss the chance to draft yet another shitty Ohio ST qb.

To be honest, that's gonna happen no matter what Pace does on Thursday.

I think Denver or New England will trade up for him at #7. It will probably be too expensive to move Atlanta, Cincinatti, or Miami off their spots (Pitts, Chase, Sewell). Detroit with their needs will be easier to deal with. This depends on how his virtual meetings have been going.

Liked the Roquan pick. Liked the Anthony Miller pick. Hated the Mitch pick. I give him credit when it's due but he missed on the biggest pick in my lifetime. He's drafting a QB and if Fields is there and he trades up, awesome. Probably not gonna happen. If not, I'm not gonna be surprised if he picks Mond at 20.

Do you really want him making trades? If I am his boss, I severely limit his ability to give up draft capital. I completely take next years picks away from him. Last thing you want to do, is give up a 1st and 2nd this year and a 2nd or 3rd next year to get in the top 15 or even 10.

No, I would rather he trade down not up but you know if it presents itself he's doing it I feel better about Fields than I did about Mitch.

For as good as NE is at other stuff, BB has never drafted a good quarterback since Tom Brady, who they lucked into.

NE is generally abysmal at drafting offensive talent in general, especially in the first round.

You really fault Belichick for taking Garoppolo late in the 2nd round?...seems about right

I don't fault him. It's just not a reason to believe he has a strong ability to scout qb talent. Jimmy G was a projected second round pick. He mostly sat behind Tom Brady and then the 49ers paid a lot to get him and now they are literally saying that they can't guarantee he will even be alive by Sunday when asked if he will be on the roster by Sunday.

They're still demanding a 1st to trade him though

It's still sad that the 49ers swindled Pace given how seemingly inept they actually are.
