I think Denver or New England will trade up for him at #7. It will probably be too expensive to move Atlanta, Cincinatti, or Miami off their spots (Pitts, Chase, Sewell). Detroit with their needs will be easier to deal with. This depends on how his virtual meetings have been going.

Liked the Roquan pick. Liked the Anthony Miller pick. Hated the Mitch pick. I give him credit when it's due but he missed on the biggest pick in my lifetime. He's drafting a QB and if Fields is there and he trades up, awesome. Probably not gonna happen. If not, I'm not gonna be surprised if he picks Mond at 20.

Do you really want him making trades? If I am his boss, I severely limit his ability to give up draft capital. I completely take next years picks away from him. Last thing you want to do, is give up a 1st and 2nd this year and a 2nd or 3rd next year to get in the top 15 or even 10.

For as good as NE is at other stuff, BB has never drafted a good quarterback since Tom Brady, who they lucked into.

NE is generally abysmal at drafting offensive talent in general, especially in the first round.

I don't fault him. It's just not a reason to believe he has a strong ability to scout qb talent. Jimmy G was a projected second round pick. He mostly sat behind Tom Brady and then the 49ers paid a lot to get him and now they are literally saying that they can't guarantee he will even be alive by Sunday when asked if he will be on the roster by Sunday.
