I'm sure the McCaskeys would be in favor of splitting the salary.

I would be happy with Fields, Farley, or Parsons. Micah Parsons is going to be really really good. He would be so much fun to watch along side Roquan.

Maybe it will be like Amos where we get the good years and the Packers pay a lot of money for the other ones.

I agree it's going to be Fields. I liked him before he became the woke crowd's darling, but Pace will overpay.

Yup. Packers have MANY at or below .500 Januaries.

No below .500 Januaries with Amos. He had one with the Bears though so I can see how you got confused.

It doesn't take a lot. It's not like I'm talking to SF, KC, or TB fans here.

The session is over. No reason to point out teams on the tier above the Packers.

So now that the Broncos traded for Teddy Bridgewater, does that take them out of the Day 1 QB market? That would certainly help the Bears chances of getting one of the 5 without moving up.

looks like all the broncos gave up was a 6th and $3M in salary, that shouldnt take them out of the running for a qb....

I don't see how Carolina or Denver can talk themselves into QB not being a major glaring need still.

Denver takes a QB and now has Teddy for a year.

After hearing about how many tackles and receivers are in this top two rounds of draft I want Bears to trade back. I simply don’t believe a QB worth trading up will be there and we already decided Dalton and Foles for at least a year. Of course if all teams above them are that dumb then have at it for a QB.

That's true but they used a 2nd on a QB in 2019 (Drew Lock). I guess he's available as a potential reclaim project if anybody else saw something in him.

Did Fields epilepsy condition coming out cause him to drop? It was probably known by NFL teams earlier and his dropping might make sense based on that. I'm just thinking out loud.

Prediction:

Pace trades the 2021 20th pick, a 2022 1st round pick, a 2023 2nd round pick and Cole Kmet to Atlanta for the 4th overall pick which he uses to take Trey Lance.

i don't know enough about college football, but what I do know is Pace will pick someone way over their appropriate draft position. Always has to try and prove to be smarter than the other GM.

I see Greg Newsome in the Bears future...and that would be a solid pick IMO.

Not even giving Darnold a chance?

Pretty sure the trade was done with Darnold in mind. I’d be surprised if they went QB in the first few rounds.
